NEWS FLASH – Calmbirth starts at the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in August

Calmbirth and Hunter New England Local Health District have partnered together to bring you this program

The John Hunter Hospital Parenting Education Service is excited to announce that we are now offering the well-known Calmbirth Antenatal education programs to expectant parents across the Newcastle and surrounding areas

Providing women with choice in a range of quality educational programs is a great step forward for our service and is a great complement to our existing range of courses.

The program will run from the Level 2, Newcastle Community Health Building, 670 Hunter Street Newcastle each Tuesday evening.

The John Hunter Hospital, located in Newcastle NSW is a large tertiary referral centre within the Hunter New England region and births around 4,000 babies each year.

“Calmbirth is thrilled to be partnering with the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle to be able to make the Calmbirth program accessible to as many pregnant couples in the Newcastle community and its surrounding areas”, says Director of Calmbirth, Karen McClay.

The Calmbirth program at the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle will commence in August with the first Calmbirth course starting on Tuesday 4th August -25th August from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

Calmbirth dates for the John Hunter Hospital are on:   Tuesday 4th August , 11th , 18th & 25th    September – 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd   October – 6th, 13th, 20th, & 27th    November – 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th    December – 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd    Space will be limited due to social distancing requirements, so to avoid missing out on getting a spot, make sure you BOOK your Calmbirth course at the JHH NOW by going to the link below.
